Great websites for Chapters 11, 12, 13, among others

There was a mention in the Sunday Chicago Tribune (11/17/02) about the website for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. They deal with problems due to physical disabilities, traumatic brain injury and other health impairments that cause physical or neurological problems, such as stroke (3 chapters in one place!). Check out the links available on this one page--traumatic brain injury and assistive technology were two I looked at.

I also recently found out about a website run by a teacher in Vermont, where they have only inclusion and their programs are models for many states' new inclusion programs. I heard from the website author, Ann Lipsitt. Here's her website address, and an excerpt from her email to me:

"Let me know if my website is at all helpful to you or your students. I will be working on it over the winter break to update sites and make sure all the links are working. I have been away from it for awhile and have not had the time to work on it, but have ideas how I'd like to change it. I'd love to hear suggestions from you. One recent suggestion was to find good websites for software for LD kids so I will start working on that soon." Ann Lipsitt

Hope you find these websites interesting and useful. Let me know what you think.
